Jolynn Woehrer, MA, MSP

Jolynn Woehrer is a lifelong learner with over two decades of professional experience in intimate partner violence intervention programs, restorative practices, social and economic justice initiatives, program development, curriculum design, healing-focused care, facilitation, and education. She holds an MA in Women’s Studies with a focus on Human Rights, a Certificate in Trauma Counseling, and a Masters in Sustainable Peacebuilding. Ms. Woehrer is currently pursuing an MSW at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee Helen Bader School for Social Welfare with a Trauma-Informed Care certificate and expects to graduate in May of 2025.

Ms. Woehrer's research and practice areas of interest are diverse and often transdisciplinary. She enjoys focusing on transformative interventions to break cycles of violence and harm, collaborative, integrated systems change efforts, and avenues for individual and collective empowerment and healing. In her recent professional roles, Ms. Woehrer has worked with the Alma Center to design, develop, and implement the Journey to Legacy healing-focused curriculum in domestic violence accountability programs in Milwaukee and Vermont.
