Graduate:  University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee

Katie is a two-time graduate from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and thoroughly enjoys giving back to the school that she loves, students, and the nursing profession as a nursing instructor.  In addition to teaching, Katie works in a hospital-based GI department. She currently volunteers her time as the Treasurer for the Wisconsin League for Nursing.

For leisure, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, their mini Australian Shepherd dog, Kona, her family, including many nieces and nephews; photography; boating; being outside; gardening (attempting to add some color to her notorious black thumb); hiking; traveling; snow-shoeing; and baking.
