The biennial symposium provides an opportunity for researchers and representatives of small businesses to interact, present results, share ideas, and discuss future research directions in the area of two-photon micro-spectroscopy. The symposium will focus on solutions to the three major barriers blocking wide adoption of fluorescence micro-spectroscopy in academic and industrial research laboratories.

This year’s symposium will consist of one and one-half days of talks and discussion sessions followed by an optional, one-half-day hands-on workshop in the UWM-Small Business Collaboratory lab at UWM in which participants will use optical micro-spectroscopy technology in imaging studies and analyze data.
