Burks-Burtin receives internship at Nurturing Diversity Partners

Linguistics major Essence Burks-Burtin has been offered an internship position as a Breaking News Curator at Nurturing Diversity Partners. In this role, Essence will curate articles by Black journalists and in Black media outlets for the Breaking News blog of America’s Black Holocaust Museum, helping readers understand the legacies of enslavement, Jim Crow, civil rights and post-civil rights eras.
