Beer Ghosts: In the Archives
October 1, 2026 - January 31, 2027
Beer Ghosts: In the Archives explores Wisconsin’s 19-century hop industry and the often overlooked contributions of women and girls to Milwaukee’s brewing history. Featuring historical diaries and brewery records from the UWM Libraries’ Archives and Special Collections Department, the exhibit highlights the people and labor behind the city’s famous brewing industry.
This exhibit is located in the Archives and Special Collections lobby, in the west wing of the third floor of the Golda Meir Library. Beer Ghosts is free to view and open to the public. The exhibit will be on display through January 2027.
