Violins of Hope: Call and Response

Prepared for the Milwaukee residency of the Violins of Hope project, this exhibit showcases the violins owned and played by Jewish musicians and others targeted by the Nazis before and during the Holocaust. The instruments are paired with visual-art responses by members of the Jewish Artists Collective Chicago and materials from Special Collections.
