Yazmin, a World Language Education and Spanish double-major, was surprised by how much she learned about herself through exploring everything UWM had to offer. She stepped out of her comfort zone to try new leadership opportunities, internships and clubs.
“I studied abroad in Seville, Spain. It taught me growth and how to be independent,” Yazmin says.
Yazmin says studying in Spain and London helped her tap into her resilience and independence. Yazmin graduated in May and is moving to Spain to be a teacher.
