The 2023 Douglas Hyde Lecture is presented by the UWM Center for Celtic Studies.

Join us for a talk about language revitalization and preservation through the persistence of An Dream Dearg and the Acht na Gaeilge movement as the struggle for language rights and recognition continues in the North of Ireland.

Presented by Cailín Nic an tSionnaigh and Clí­odhna Ní­ Chorráin. Cailín is a UWM Irish language instructor and Fulbright FLTA. Clíodhna is an Irish language instructor at the University of Notre Dame and Fulbright FLTA.
