Please Note: L&S In Focus is published on the first Tuesday of each month. To be considered for the upcoming issue, submissions must be received no later than one week before the publication date. Some submissions may be selected for a feature spotlight story. If your submission is chosen, an L&S writer will contact you to schedule an interview and gather additional information. All content is subject to the discretion of In Focus staff.

Student Union print pieces: First, connect with Union Marketing to arrange a time/place for window clings, banners, and “gold frame” spaces before our team can start a design. Our team handles the design, whereas Union Marketing will handle the production and will charge your department or program for production costs.

Postal Pieces: Please submit all requests for postal piece design at least sixty (60) days before the desired mail date. This timeframe accounts for the design and mailing of the postal piece(s). Departments and programs typically send postal pieces in bulk. UWM Mail Services needs at least two weeks from when mail services receive all printed materials, mailing list, and completed request form. Please consider this timeline in your schedule when planning bulk mail requests. For more information regarding bulk mail requests, please visit Mail Services – Bulk Mail Request Form.
