There are a wide range of organizations and activities of Jewish interest at UWM and in the community, including:

Hillel Milwaukee

Hillel Milwaukee strives to create a dynamic, warm and celebratory Jewish environment for Milwaukee’s university students and young adults (ages 18-26) where they can explore and express their Jewish identities and gain a sense of belonging within the Jewish community. Hillel is not a UWM organization and serves not just UWM but also all other nearby college campuses and their students.

The organization offers holiday and cultural programs, Shabbat dinners, leadership opportunities, social action projects, Israel programs, outdoor activities, and social gatherings. Jewish young adults from all backgrounds all welcome as are all local students who have a sincere desire to learn more about Judaism.

Chabad

Lubavitch of Wisconsin is dedicated to serving all Jews throughout Wisconsin with programs that provide the education to promote Jewish learning and awareness. It encourages and facilitates the efforts to increase Jewish knowledge and observance.

UWM Land Acknowledgement: We acknowledge in Milwaukee that we are on traditional Potawatomi, Ho-Chunk and Menominee homeland along the southwest shores of Michigami, North America’s largest system of freshwater lakes, where the Milwaukee, Menominee and Kinnickinnic rivers meet and the people of Wisconsin’s sovereign Anishinaabe, Ho-Chunk, Menominee, Oneida and Mohican nations remain present.   |   To learn more, visit the Electa Quinney Institute website.
