The School of Information Studies‘ Nonprof-IT program continues to make an impact as former students return to mentor the next generation of information professionals.
Founded by lecturer Adam Hudson, the program pairs UWM students with local nonprofits in need of affordable technology support. What began as a classroom initiative has grown into a powerful network: alumni return as mentors, nonprofits get professional-quality digital services (often saving around $10,000 per project), and students graduate job-ready.
