Michel Zam

Michel Zam is a faculty member in the School of Information Studies at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, where he teaches and mentors across the fields of information science, agile software architecture, and data science. An engaged entrepreneur and educator, he has trained and coached thousands of students and engineers.

He applies his scientific expertise in Executable Reflective Meta-Models and Reproducible Causal Traces to pedagogy, bringing advanced research directly into the learning experience.

Michel has participated in programs through the UWM Business Innovation Incubator and the NSF I-Corps program, exploring innovative tools and methods for teaching.

With a cross-cultural career spanning Europe, Asia, and the United States, Michel brings an inclusive, student-centered approach inspired by Aristotelian traditions—committed to clarity, engagement, and leaving no learner behind.
