John Oluwaseye Adebayo

John Adebayo holds a Master's and Bachelor of Library and Information Studies, respectively, from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Before his university education, he studied at the Oyo State College of Education, Lanlate Campus, where he majored in Primary Education Studies. Between 2015 and 2021, he worked as a reference and E-resources librarian at Michael and Cecilia Ibru University, Ughelli, and Chrisland University, Abeokuta. Until he commenced his doctoral training at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, he was a Scholarly Communication Librarian at the CBN Centre for Economics and Finance, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. 

 In 2019, he won the prestigious IFLA/OCLC Early Career Development Program in Dublin, Ohio. He was also a Fellow of Carnegie CPD Training for Professional Development Programme for the next Generation African Library and Information Professionals at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Aside from being a Certified Librarian of Nigeria (CLN), he was a 2021 Fellow of the University Leadership and Management Training Course (UNILEAD) held at the University of Oldenburg, Germany. In 2022, he was selected for the Academic Librarianship Fellowship of the Society for Scholarly Publishing Early Career Professional Fellowship, Chicago, USA. He has published articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
