Racine Elevates All Children’s Health (REACH) Study

Racine Elevates All Children’s Health (REACH) Study

Background

October 2018 – December 2022

Racine Elevates All Children’s Health (REACH) is an impact study of Family Connects, a postpartum nurse visiting program that is being implemented by the Central Racine County Health Department in partnership with Ascension All Saints Hospital. Extending promising results from an initial trial in Durham, North Carolina, this replication study will test the program’s effects on an array of outcomes, including maternal health and well-being, infant health and development, and family functioning. We also will assess program impacts on healthcare utilization and child protective service involvement. Results will be shared with diverse stakeholders to facilitate ongoing efforts to disseminate Family Connects throughout the state and nationwide.
