Sara Chopp

Research Assistant

Sara Chopp is a Research Assistant and Project Coordinator currently engaged with the Milwaukee Equity Action Plan and Family Foundations Home Visiting (FFHV) evaluation. She is dedicated to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within organizational cultures. She has a keen eye for scrutinizing organizational policies and practices through the lens of DEI standards, providing valuable insights and recommendations for their enhancement. Her research interests are centered around the impact of critical consciousness on bystander intervention in civil courage situations, as well as the development and distribution of educational programs aimed at bolstering DEI. In addition to her current role, Sara holds the position of Senior Assessment Specialist at ASQ/E. Her academic contributions include a three-year tenure as an Instructor of Positive Psychology and multiple research and teaching assistantships spanning Educational Psychology, Health Informatics and Administration, and Public Affairs and Policy. She is an ABD in UWM’s Educational Psychology PhD program, holds a Master’s in Public Administration, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Her educational background equips her with a robust framework to approach her research and practice interests with both theoretical and practical acumen.
