To update your personal information please use the portal.
The following personal information items may be updated in the portal:
- Home Address
- Mailing Address
- Contact Details (Phone Numbers and Email Addresses)
- Preferred Name
- Emergency Contacts
- Release of Home Information
(Choosing whether or not to allow the University to release your home information to vendors and organizations for mailings and other information.)
- Marital Status
- Coordination of Benefits
- Medicare Information
- Ethnic Groups
- Veteran Status

Log into the portal and click the menu button in the upper left corner.
- Step 2
Click on Browse apps to locate the Personal Information app and launch it.
- Step 3
In the Personal Information app click the link for Update My Personal Information to be transferred to the Personal Details section of the UW System portal.
Former employees in need of making updates to their personal information should contact the Central Human Resources office at:

Divisional or Departmental staff should contact their Human Resources Business Partner for assistance with personal information update requests.
HRBPs should contact the Central Human Resources office with any questions about personal information updating, based on their existing client group contacts.
