Provides employees and family members confidential resources to address the following:

  • Personal and work-related concerns/issues
  • Assistance with legal/financial situations
  • Help with work-life balance including referral services
  • Navigate traumatic incidents and coping with grief/loss

Employees and family members are eligible for up to 6 free confidential counseling sessions

Services are free and employees do not need to be enrolled in State Group Health Insurance to utilize

Employees can also access discounts for various goods/services through EAP

EAP services are available 12 mos following separation


Management & Organizational Services

Managers and human resource professionals have access to unlimited telephonic leadership consultation services

  • Call toll-free number to connect directly with the EAP’s Management Services Team

Receive expert advice and guidance on issues such as:

  • Enhancing team dynamics, fostering employee morale and engagement
  • Maintaining a positive, productive work environment
  • Addressing problematic behavior and performance (tardiness, missed deadlines, absenteeism, low morale, complaints, etc.)
  • Referring an employee to the EAP
  • How to talk with an employee about work performance
  • Resources and support to help process and deal with a traumatic experience/critical incident both short and long term.

EAP can come onsite or virtually provide educational sessions for department meetings
