Long-term Field Station researchers Dr. Linda Whittingham and Dr. Peter Dunn have been been awarded the 2019 Elliott Coues Award from the American Ornithological Society (AOS). The award recognizes their outstanding and innovative contributions to ornithological research, including their extensive field studies and molecular lab work on Tree Swallows and Common Yellowthroats. Much of this work was conducted at the Field Station. They have been studying birds at the Field Station for over 20 years.
