What is instructional design?
Instructional designers develop, implement, and enhance learning experiences by applying principles of adult learning, educational technology, and curriculum design. They create engaging training programs, online courses, and instructional materials for universities, corporations, nonprofits, and government agencies.
Our alumni have secured instructional design positions at organizations such as:
- Higher Education: University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Worsham College of Mortuary Science, University of Wisconsin Extended Campus
- Corporate & Industry: Milwaukee Tool, Rockwell Automation, Molson Coors, Harley Davidson, Equus Workforce Solutions, WestRock, Kohl’s Department Stores, Wendy’s
During the panel, our alumni will share:
- Their career paths and how the master’s program prepared them for instructional design roles
- Key skills employers seek in instructional designers
- Advice for making a successful career transition
This is a fantastic opportunity to connect, ask questions, and explore how instructional design could be the next step in your professional journey.
We look forward to seeing you there!
