Elizabeth Cutter, PhD
- Instructor, Teaching and Learning: Elementary Education
Dr. Elizabeth Cutter-Lin is an instructor in Teaching and Learning at UWM. She teaches methods for mathematics instruction in the Elementary Education program and supervises pre-service teachers in the field. She has a background in the elementary classroom, teaching first, fourth, and fifth grade in Chicago Public Schools, Berkeley Public Schools and two Milwaukee area public school districts. She is passionate about math education as a civil rights issue and shifting students' experiences with mathematics to grow a love of math and learning.
Dr. Cutter-Lin received her BA from Washington University in St. Louis, her MSed from Northwestern University, and her Phd in Math Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
