  • PhD Student, Educational Psychology: School Psychology

I will be entering my 4th year as a doctoral student in Education Psychology, with a specialization in School Psychology. For the past three years, I have helped lead and teach Ed Psych 110 on campus. This class helps freshmen in college and high school seniors choose a major and career that matches their skills and identity. This year I will be working with Dr. Stoiber in the educational psychology department. I am also looking forward to completing practicum at the children's hospital this year. In addition, I assist school psychology faculty in ongoing research. Currently, we are conducting research analyzing how the peer networks of sixth-grade students help them regulate their emotions. This study aligns with my research interests, to further understand emotion regulation and the impact of friendships among adolescents. My professional interests revolve around working with children and adolescents in the areas of anxiety, depression, and emotion regulation.
