Robert Longwell-Grice

Robert Longwell-Grice served as senior academic advisor for the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). He was responsible for graduate student recruitment for the School of Education. Rob also coordinated scholarships for the School of Education. Prior to this Rob was the Associate Dean of Students at UWM. He also served as the director of academic services for the School of Education at UWM for a number of years.
Rob received his doctorate in educational and counseling psychology from the University of Louisville, and his masters in counseling from Penn State. He has held a variety of positions in higher education and student affairs during his forty years in the field. Prior to his arrival at UWM, Rob worked for Penn State, the University of New Hampshire, New England College (in the U.S. and the U.K.), the University of Delaware, and the University of Louisville. Rob’s research interests include issues of social class, first generation college students and sustainability.
