Kristen Roche (PhD ’11) was recognized by the UWM Alumni Association as a Graduate of the Last Decade (GOLD) in the Annual Alumni Awards Ceremony on October 9th at Pier Wisconsin in downtown Milwaukee.

A recent study by recent alumnus Kristen Roche, Mount Mary College, and former UWM professor Keith Bender, shows that when women are in charge, they tend to pay themselves lower salaries than their male counterparts.

Alumnus Dominic Brewer—an esteemed expert in the economics of education and educational policy was named Dean of NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development.
