UWM UndergradsResearch Conference in Dallas

UWM undergraduates participated in a research conference sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas in early April. Evan Andrew presented his paper (co-authored with Alex Glover) titled “Ultimatum Bargaining: An Experimental Study on Rational Thinking.” Others attending the conference (and serving as discussants) were Stan Porubcan, Chris Berg, Jordan Garvin, and Haley Wadel.

It proved a fantastic opportunity to meet with economics students from around the country and get a serious introduction to economics research and conferences. A substantial share of the cost to participate came from friends and alumni who contributed to the Department of Economics General Fund. Additional contributions will help future students participate.
