Thank you for your interest in judging at the UWM Chemistry Research Symposium! We encourage faculty, staff, graduate students, community partners and alumni to serve as judges for this event.
What to Expect
We will confirm judging assignment a week or two before the event. On Thursday, April 30th, and Friday May 1st, judges will report no less than 20 to 25 minutes before their assigned session to registration on the first floor, East Lobby of the Chemistry Building. At registration, judges will pick up a clipboard with their assignment as well as a name tag. Students have been instructed to present to a general audience so no previous knowledge in the subject area should be needed. We invite you to stay for all activities on this two-day event.
Poster Presentation
Each judge will be assigned up to four posters to evaluate, completed on the judge’s device accessed through a QR code. Each evaluation is submitted immediately following each poster visit. We expect that judging should take no more than an hour.
