Biographical Sketch

Dr. Foersterling is the Supervisor of the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Laboratory, providing NMR services to the department.  He is responsible for maintaining the spectrometers, assisting users in conducting experiments, and instructing new users on the use of instrumentation.  In addition, he is implementing new NMR experiments and advising and collaborating with members of the department in the solution of chemical and biochemical problems using NMR spectroscopy.\nDr. Foersterling's areas of personal interest are the study of structure and dynamics of proteins and organometallic complexes using multidimentional NMR methods.
