Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC)
Model: Mettler-Toledo Thermal Analysis System DSC 3 with STARe software.
This DSC features a FRS 5+ ceramic sensor and a SmartSens color touchscreen terminal. The instrument is air-cooled and provides a temperature range of up to 500 degrees C. 40 uL aluminum crucibles and a crucible sealing press (Mettler-Toledo 119410) are supplied on site. Samples can be weighed using a Mettler-Toledo XSR204DR analytical balance with a readability of 0.1 mg in the fine range of up to 81 g.
The DSC was installed and calibrated on May 15, 2025. The analytical balance was put in service in Fall 2024.
