Friday, March 1

County Clare Inn, 1234 N. Astor St., Milwaukee
5:00p – Informal gathering at the County Clare, Joyce Room. There is no official program for Friday evening. Guests are encouraged to mingle, play Irish language games and partake in a music session.
7:00p-8:30p – Event organizers will be available to answer questions and say hello!

Saturday, March 2

9:15a-9:30a – Welcome & Introductions
9:30a-10:45a – Classes Session 1
10:45a-11:00a – Tea break
11:00a-12:00p – Classes Session 2
12:00-12:30p – Lunch
12:30p-1:15p – Douglas Hyde Lecture: “100 Years of Diplomacy – Ireland and the U.S.” by Pádraig Manning, Vice Consul, Chicago Office of the Consulate General of Ireland.
1:30p-2:45p – Classes Session 3
2:45p-3:00p – Tea break
3:00p-4:15p – Classes Session 4

4:30p – Dinner break
(Wauwatosa has many, many food options, including those that are walkable from the CelticMKE Center. Of course you can find other restaurants in other places around Milwaukee. Since we will reconvene at the County Clare, if you are planning to eat dinner in the County Clare Restaurant, it is highly recommended to make a reservation as early as possible – call (414) 272-5273 – since they do fill up very quickly.)
