This form is intended for course leads, departments, and other business units to request for a Blueprint course. Course materials can be synchronized from Blueprint courses to course shells.

Request A New Non-Credit Canvas Course
This form enables instructors and administrative staff to request a new Canvas course. This form cannot be used to request a for-credit course. For assistance with for-credit courses, contact your department or program’s Schedule-of-Classes Builder.

Other Forms
Request a University Announcement
University administrators can use this form to request for an announcement to be placed on the Canvas Dashboard. Once the request is submitted, it will be reviewed by a Canvas Administrator, and a member of Academic Affairs leadership to ensure it meets the following guidelines:
- The announcement must promote information that contributes to student success.
- The announcement must be of a university-wide nature.
- Canvas is not the only method used to reach the target audience.
- The initiative or project prompting the announcement must be managed by staff at UWM or UW Administration.
Start the Intake of a New External Tool
Use this form to introduce a new paid or free External Tool (a.k.a. LTI Integration) in Canvas. You will be taken to the UWM IT Procurement form with some fields pre-selected to make it easier for you to submit the request.
If UWM has not used the tool before, it will be reviewed by UWM Purchasing, the UWM Office of Information Security, the UWM Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, and the UW DLE Service Management Team. Otherwise, someone in UWM IT or CETL will let you know next steps.
