UW-Milwaukee offers 26 programs that lead to licensure under the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. UWM endorses individuals for initial, advanced, and supplementary licenses depending on the program. Please note that the programs are spread across five of schools. Applicants and others are encouraged to review information listed under Health Care Programs, Library Programs, and Social Work Programs if you do not find the license listed in this section. Additionally, please note that the School of Education has two sections. One is for initial licenses in education and the other section is for programs leading to administrator, pupil services, and advanced licenses.
