Division of Academic Affairs
The Division of Academic Affairs provides the framework, resources, and support to allow UWM’s scholars to achieve their goals, enhance academic programming, advance research, and ensure success for all students.
The Office of the Provost is also responsible for faculty and staff development and personnel oversight, institutional accreditation and accountability for assessing student learning outcomes, and collaborations with other institutions and organizations to catalyze research growth, economic development, and interdisciplinary program offerings.
As the chief academic officer of UWM, Interim Provost Freiburger oversees all academic operations, is responsible for the administration of all schools and colleges, as well as enrollment management and numerous centers, institutes, and units within the Division of Academic Affairs.
