TRIO & Pre-College Programs (TPP) provide educational access and opportunities to middle and high school students, adults and veterans without regard to gender, ethnicity, disability or socioeconomic status. Our firm belief and the premise of our work is that education empowers communities to inspire future generations to effect positive personal and social change and growth.

UWM is committed to providing opportunities for high school students to earn college credit. Every semester hundreds of high school students are enrolled in UWM courses that meet on campus or in their high schools. The Office of Dual Enrollment (ODE) was created in 2019 to provide more dual enrollment opportunities and support for high school students.

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions (OUA) supports the needs of prospective, new, transferring, re-entering, and non-degree-seeking students. Undergraduate Admissions is where you’ll learn about visiting campus, how to apply to UWM and more.

The Student Financial Service Center (SFSC) is designed to help you meet your education goals through centralized support, financial assistance, and commitment to service. We are the integrated customer service area representing the Offices of Financial Aid Administration, Student Accounts, and Student Scholarships.

The Office of Financial Aid Administration (OFAA) handles all the processing of need-based financial aid and oversees compliance of all federal, state and institutional regulations associated with the administration of financial aid on campus.

The Office of Student Scholarships (OSS) promotes the recruitment, retention, and academic success of students through the effective implementation and execution of scholarship activities.

The Registrar’s Office (RO) maintains academic records, upholds institutional policies, and performs the essential functions that enable enrollment, instruction, and degree completion. RO provides timely and reliable service and creates a caring, compassionate, and collegial environment for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the public. 

The Center for Student Experience and Talent (SET) provides a path for all students to graduate career-ready and community-minded.

The Student Success Center (SSC) connects students to peers, faculty, staff and resources throughout our campus community to support the personal and academic success of each student. We provide students with a variety of academic and support services to empower them to achieve and succeed.

As a temporary home for new freshman students who are undecided about their college major or who are determined through the admission process to need additional support before transitioning into their chosen major, Pathway Advising assists students in academic exploration and decision-making.
 

The EM Systems & Data Analysis (SDA) department provides support and guidance to Enrollment Management and other campus departments as it relates to the student information system (PAWS) and the data that comes from that system.
