Collectively, SEMSS staff manage high-volume, high-stakes operational work while also leading long-range strategic initiatives tied to the university’s Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) plan. Through annual planning, assessment, and reporting processes, the division continuously evaluates effectiveness, adapts to policy and market changes, and scales efforts to meet institutional priorities. The size and scope of SEMSS reflect UWM’s commitment to enrollment stability, student success, and institutional sustainability, with work that touches nearly every student and academic unit on campus.
