Master’s options in the School of Nursing promote diversity, readiness and flexibility. Extensive on-campus and online courses are offered for the Master’s of Nursing (direct-entry master’s, or RN/BS to Master’s of Nursing) and the Master of Sustainable Peacebuilding. In addition, our programs include an experiential learning component in partnership with community and clinical partners.

Doctoral students are key research and clinical partners in the School of Nursing. Students in either the PhD in Nursing or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree design projects that increase the discipline of nursing knowledge and that influence how practice is undertaken.

The School of Nursing offers a wide variety of graduate certificate options, including post-master’s specialty role certificates such as the acute care adult-gerontology nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, family nurse practitioner, and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. In addition to the specialty role certificates, we offer additional certificates that can enhance a student’s knowledge base and provide further technical certification.
