Title: 2011 High School Chemistry Exam
Traditional exam for a first-year high school chemistry course. Designed by teachers for teachers, for the full year high school chemistry course, the ACS Standardized Exam for High School Chemistry has 80 single-topic questions. The exam has two parts so that it can be taken in two 40 minute sessions or in one 80-minute session. Since 2003 these exams have been designed to align with national standards for science education. This exam is for all high school students taking a traditional first year chemistry course.
The high school exams align to content standards common to either the NGSS or other standards. For example, included on the exams are disciplinary core ideas of structure and properties of matter, chemical reactions and energy in chemical processes and everyday life.
