Summary:

Mini-documentary footage on enforcing the Proxmire Bill on regulating the practices among bankers. This segment includes interview footage with Congressman Henry Reuss (Chairman of the Committee on Banking, Finance, and Urban Affairs) about the banking system and regulators. Video shows a montage of regulator building facades and signs like Security and Exchange Commission, FDIC, and Federal Reserve as well as of a number of Wisconsin banks caught up in interstate and insider-loan practices. Mike Jacobs concludes by noting that the federal banking laws have one of the biggest lobbies in the nation.
