The Presidential Race: The Voters, Part 3 A-Roll

Summary:

Footage for the half-hour documentary, “The Presidential Race: The Voters,” which compiles six weeks of interviews with people around the state speaking about the Republican and Democratic candidates running in the primary election. This segment features the agriculture community as food producers in Tiffany, Wisconsin, and consumers shopping in an unidentified urban grocery store (maybe in Milwaukee). The first part shows interviews with dairy and pig farmers at a public gathering, where a musical performance is recorded by WCLO Remote Broadcast. It cuts to interviews with two farmers in the milking barn at Dun Rong Farm owned by Paul and Donna Luety, and then cuts to an unidentified pig farm. The second part includes interviews with several shoppers (black and white, retirees and parents) by the fresh produce, meat counter, and baking aisle. Topics discussed are lowering food prices by manufactures, consumer power, and worries about lowering pensions.

This is the third reel of three for this program. Also see SR461 and SR462.
