Summary:

Interview of John J. Watson after a preliminary hearing for rape and homicide charges of Edna Mauch. Watson, an African American, is with his lawyer when questioned by the press about his testimony in court. Having taken the 5th Amendment forty times in the Mauch murder case, Watson insists that lies were fabricated about him by the district attorney and he refuses to take a lie detector test, not trusting the police.
