UWM Life Impact Program helps WGS Student

The UWM Report article “Life Impact helps new grad to overcome odds” features Luisana Waukau, a Women’s & Gender Studies major scheduled to graduate this coming May. Luisana is the first of her immediate family to finish high school and go on to college. Her success story is partly due to the UWM Life Impact Program. Life Impact has worked to break the cycle of poverty by supporting students who could most benefit from a college degree.
