Applications are now being accepted for the Florence L. Healy Scholarship (https://uwm.edu/womens-gender-studies/scholarships/). This scholarship is for the 2022-23 school year; students graduating in May or August 2022 are not eligible. Qualified students will meet these criteria:

• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Interest and engagement in research related to Women’s and Gender Studies
• Have taken at least one Women’s and Gender Studies course (Coded as WGS on your transcript)
• Demonstrated financial need as shown on the FAFSA

 

All applications are done through the UWM Scholarship Portal and is a two-step process:

1. Fill out your general scholarship application in the UWM scholarship portal https://uwm.academicworks.com/. If you previously filled this out, your answers carry over and you just need to update and edit your information.
2. Complete the Healy scholarship application at https://uwm.academicworks.com/opportunities/6541.
