The Child Welfare Program proudly offers a wide variety of trainings to dedicated to the professional development of Child Welfare and Youth Justice staff in Milwaukee. Through New Staff Development, Continuing Education, and Supervisory Development, individuals are encouraged to gain more experience and expand their knowledge on these subjects through our invigorating and exceptional training at the Milwaukee Child Welfare Partnership.

New Staff Development

Initial training for new child welfare staff is designed specifically to meet the immediate needs of those entering case-carrying positions with DMCPS and its contract agencies.

Continuing Education

The Continuing Education training program at the Milwaukee Child Welfare Partnership provides a broad spectrum of post-foundation trainings and learning activities. The mission of the Continuing Education training program is to enhance child welfare practice knowledge and skill to support our partner agency objectives and the Wisconsin Practice Model.
