Project Description
UW-Milwaukee’s Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS) is a U.S. Department of Education National Resource Center (NRC). Part of our NRC mission is to promote teaching about Latin America and the Caribbean among K12 educators locally and nationally. Teachers consistently report that they most appreciate free, high-quality materials that can be easily integrated to existing curriculum.
Tasks and Responsibilites
Student work on this project may include
1) researching existing teaching materials available through the national network of NRCs;
2) developing new teaching materials to add to a public repository for K12 educators;
3) publicizing materials among existing CLACS teacher networks and/or new educator audiences.
