Project Description
This research project focuses on the synthesis of anisotropic gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) using thermoplastic-based microfluidic reactors and their application in biosensing. These nanoparticles will be tested for their effectiveness in enhancing Raman signals through Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS), aiming to improve biosensor sensitivity. The project offers hands-on experience in microfluidics, nanotechnology, and biosensing, with opportunities for collaboration and presenting research at international conferences.
Tasks and Responsibilites
The student will design and fabricate microreactors for controlled nanoparticle synthesis, optimizing conditions to achieve well-defined particle morphology.
