Did the America Invents Act Boost Innovation?

Project Description

In 2011, the government passed the largest US policy targeting patenting and innovation. This policy, the America Invents Act, dramatically changed the patenting system of the United States. One of the goals of this policy was to promote innovation both domestically and abroad. The goal of my research is to study the potential ramifications of this policy using patent data and statistical methods.
