Project Description
Build a dozen RC cars from joystick control to computer control through WIFI. A camera mounting on the ceiling helps localize the cars. A computer sends out control commands to the RC cars. The RC cars can complete given movement tasks, e.g., circulating in the lab space.
Tasks and Responsibilites
Complete the remaining tasks described in summer SURF. 1. Building more RC cars from joystick control to computer control through WIFI. 2. Setup Robot Operating System (ROS)-based communication and control mechanism. 3. A computer sends out control commands to the RC cars and completes given movement tasks, e.g., circulating in the lab space.
