Elizabeth Lappano is an Undergraduate Researcher double-majoring in Classical Civilizations and Theatre Production with a minor in Religious Studies. She is currently conducting research with Ralph Janes on the topic of inclusivity and accessibility in the performing arts with a focus on how to make the theater world as accepting as possible. She has presented at several conferences, including the National Conference for Undergraduate Research in both 2024 and 2025. In addition, her work has been featured in exhibitions through the Peck School of the Arts here at UWM.

After graduation, Elizabeth hopes to bring her work to a masters level, and work in theater professionally. Along with this, she plans on getting her docterates in religious studies and becoming a professor. Overall, her goal is to give back to the community that helped shaped who she is- as an artist and as a scholar.
