Project Description
This project examines how nonspecialist community providers experience delivering a narrative-therapy–informed mental health intervention within a multicultural and bilingual setting. The research focuses on understanding how empathy is expressed and communicated across cultural and linguistic contexts, and how these insights can inform the refinement of training materials for nonspecialist-delivered interventions.
Tasks and Responsibilites
Students will assist with literature review, participant recruitment, semi-structured interviews, qualitative coding, and thematic analysis. They will help prepare a brief report of findings to support future intervention adaptation efforts. Students will also receive training in qualitative methods, cultural adaptation frameworks, and global mental health implementation.
