Project Description
Develop and modify various new electrode materials including but not limited to lithium metal surface modifications and micro-sized tin encapsulations. The methodology includes wet-chemical methods and chemical vapor deposition in EMS. Typically, students will work with graduate students to design new materials which will show better electrochemical property and battery cycling performance.
Tasks and Responsibilites
The student tasks:
1. assist to synthesize materials in PI's lab;
2. participate the electrode processing and battery assembly;
3. participate the battery property measurements and cycling tests. Responsibilities:
1. Can independently operate the electrode making via slurry and dry process.
2. Understand and can analyze the basic information of the battery data.
