Project Description
The study has 4 objectives: 1. Deconstruct Troll Messaging and Rhetorical Strategies, 2. Study the Emergence of Disinfolklore, 3. Analyze Psychological and Social Impact 4. Compare MAGA and Russian Disinformation Networks Methodology for this research will include dynamic network analysis.
Tasks and Responsibilites
The tasks will be twofold 1. Literature Review and Background Research: review article and prepare annotate bibliography, document key concepts of disinformation 2. Data Collection and Social Media Monitoring: Gather and categorize troll-generated content from social media platforms (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, Reddit) related to MAGA and Russian disinformation campaigns; Identify and track viral memes, videos, or phrases that are characteristic of digital folklore.
