Alana Fisher

Alana Fisher is a third year currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health with a certificate in Cultures and Communities. She is in the Success Through Aging Research (STAR) Program and is currently working with Dr. Yura Lee on a project titled "Going Home: Reminiscence Intervention for Asian Immigrants with Dementia". This project aims to use Virtual Reality (VR) technology to create a culturally-tailored reminiscence intervention with adults with Alzheimer's Disease and related Dementias (ADRD).
On campus, Alana considers herself a very involved commuter student as she has done many things on campus including but not limted to: MKE Scholars, Orientation Leadership, Student Success Center, Alumni Association as well as being the current president of a student organization named Community of Creative Arts, interning at Nourish MKE and is the Content Creator for UWM's Women's Resource Center.
